Wild

Dr. Wild & Co. rebranded their oral care line in 2019. I joined as social media manager and art director, which meant starting with a clean slate.

The brief

During my time at Dr. Wild & Co. I created and managed the content for their social media channels, along with the marketing content for pharmacy partnerships and export markets.

Wild is a Swiss pharmaceutical company, family-owned since 1932. Their oral care brands are Emoform, Emofluor and Tebodont. The line had just been rebranded, so I was able to start with a clean slate when I started my position.

Their own SWOT described the company as discreet and introverted. I began with a workshop rather than a content calendar: a day and a half with both CEOs, working through the brand from the top.

The shoots

I worked to create an authentic and approachable brand presence, and I focused on using real people and families in the campaigns. A colleague and I planned the shoots together. I art directed and he photographed.

Alongside the family photography we shot the products, showing what each one is for so that the USP was in the picture rather than left to the caption. We also interviewed some of the families about why oral health matters to them, which gave a second stream of content out of every shoot day.

The results were warm and inviting.

What I left behind

I handed over a system rather than a backlog: content pillars, a strategy for running them, and a mood defined clearly enough that someone else could shoot to it.

The photography and video we produced outlived the campaign it was made for. It still runs across their products, their marketing material and their point of sale.
